What are the dimensions of the Styrofoam in the middle of the cake that is holding the top tier?

Is that the 2x 6″ Round cake drums (for extra height)? Where do you think I can buy it?

Actually Paul hasn’t added that in the list of ingredients. He says the centre pillar is 2″ across but he hasn’t mentioned the height which I can’t make out. From the video it looks like it might be 5″ or 6″ tall. Thanks! But, I live in the States do you know if they ship to the US? I looked everywhere to find the Styrofoam, but I had no luck. Do you know of anything?

Hi again! the height of the centre column is bugging me, I’ve just measured my icing sugar dredger which looks similar to the stryofoam and it measures 3.5 inches which is too small. I think a reasonable height would be 4 or 4.5 inches. I suggest to get a true size, perhaps make the size model you want, measure it and gauge the height of the pillar from that. Have you tried Global Sugar Art, Hobby Lobby and Michael’s?
