Can I use Mrs Jones 10 inch cake recipe in heart or star tin?

Hi can you use mrs jones recipe in a 10 inch heart/ star shape tin

I can’t help with the star shaped cake tin, the heart shape tin should be fine, just treat it the same as the round and keep an eye on it when getting closer to the time up. If your heart shape tin is a different depth (mine is 2″ deep) it’s possible you may not need all of the batter in which case make some lovely cupcakes with the left over batter.
