I’m making christmas cakes I’ve got recipe for 10 inch cake but want to devide into to 5inch tins how long do I bake it for in smaller tins it usually take 3 hours 15 mins for 10 inch can u help me please

Not knowing whose recipe you are using and at what temperature it would be difficult to give you a catagorical answer. I suggest following Delia’s instructions but check half way through with a wooden skewer which is a better indicator than a metal one. Bake on until the skewer comes out clean.
