I’m covering a tall hat cake and the fondant keeps tearing please help?

Try this method of covering :
You’ll need an extra long rolling pin but it’s well worth it. Saves loads of time and frustration!
There will be a join on the back of the cake which I usually rub out gently with a damp finger or cover the join with decoration. I hope the tutorial helps.
