fruit cake timing
hello, I would like to apologise in advance as I know I have asked so much recently – I do really appreciate the help!
okay, so my 10″ fruit cakes in the oven as we speak, its been baking for three and half hours now and I’m not sure if its done – my dowel isn’t really gooey but has a damp look and a few crumbs? if this isn’t done any ideas how much longer its likely to take?

Hi Steph
As long as the mixture coming out is not wet it should be cooked. Fruit cake always has a few sticky crumbs because of the ingredients. It must be out of the oven now, is it ok?
