Highlights
Here we have carefully selected the key parts from the entire tutorial and condensed it into an 8 minute long video. More than enough to get you started, without taking too much time.
1. Covering the cake
Paul starts off by talking us through his design, and then gets straight to covering the pre-iced cake with lovely thin stripes of red sugarpaste.

2. Finishing the stripes
Paul has rolled out lovely green sugarpaste to around 3mm thick, and adds them to the cake to finish the candy cane look.
3. Making Rudolph pt 1
Paul makes a cute cartoon style Rudolph and makes the body, back legs and head. He’ll finish him off later on in the tutorial.

5. Making Santa pt 1
Paul starts on Santa and makes his body, legs and feet.
6. Making Santa pt 2
Paul makes the head. He has second thoughts about the nose, and instead he goes for a simple large ball of sugarpaste for extra cuteness.
7. Making Santa pt 3
Paul now finishes off Santa, adding his hat and hair and them some nice red dust to give him rosy cheeks.
8. Making the signs
Paul has rolled out a few different colours and has let them sit for ten minutes or so to allow them to dry. This makes it easier when using the tapit to cut out the letters.
