It’s that time of year when cake designers are asked to create that special Christmas Cake and its always a challenge to come up with something different with that WOW factor.
This time last year Paul and David were heads down in designs and explanations, looking to create a book with a variety of Christmas cakes that would suit all skill levels. With cakes ranging from Santa crashing into a hillside with poor Rudolph stuck in the snow to the Wrap themed Christmas wedding cake there is something for everyone.
The photographs were taken last winter and with plenty of snow outside. The image on the front cover of the soft back version of the book was taken with real snow!
Since its publication in August there has been a terrific response and with the book now on sale in John Lewis, Hobbycraft, Costco and Lakeland and available in both hardback and softback hopefully you’ll have seen a copy somewhere for a quick flick through.
