What a year it has been!

January – March 2017

17 – 19 March 2017 Cake International Birmingham spring show saw Karen Keaney of https://www.rosesandbowscakery.com/win Best in Show Overall with her decorative exhibit piece “Egbert and Monty” Karen is now a Cake International Judge.

April – June 2017

Dot Klerck of https://www.facebook.com/eatcakeparty
created a 1.2 tonne elephant constructed mainly of cake, the elephant took Dot over 250 hours to sculpt. Dot is passionate about wildlife, so combining her passion for art, sculpture and cake to create this incredible piece of edible art was a dream come true for this talented artist. The elephant sculpture was carefully transported from Wellington, New Zealand, to be shown at the Good Food and Wine Show at the CTICC in South Africa.
Dot Klerck consequently won “Best Show Piece” at the Cake Masters Awards 4 November 2017 Birmingham.
