Karen Keaney’s Bread
We are all feeling the cold at the moment, even if you don’t have any snow, it is freezing in the UK at the moment!
So, if you are stuck indoors with no bread, Karen Keaney’s bread is the easiest recipe ever.
Karen says make double because it won’t last long!
450g self raising flour
300ml milk
1 egg
1 tablespoon sugar
Pinch salt 1 teaspoon baking powder
50ml oil or melted butter
Preheat fan oven to 185°c
Combine all the ingredients together and knead very LIGHTLY on a floured surface to form a ball.
Place on a floured baking tray, cut a 1 inch deep cross on the top of the bread and bake at 185°c for 35 mins.
I am definitely trying this recipe, please send us your pictures if you do!
