How long does Paul’s moist chocolate cake keep?
I’ve made Paul’s moist chocolate cake a few times and always found it very reliable. I’ve been asked to do a complex design and wonder how long ahead I can make the cake? I know it keeps well but can I make the cake to give me time to decorate it? Thanks

Members have reported that it stays fresh for as long as ten days. However, I would stick with what David says. If you drizzle some Bailey’s liqueur or any alcohol on the cake layers you’ll get a few more days shelf life. Simple syrup will do the same but the cake is very moist so moisten with caution. 🙂
