Hi there
Just about to use this mould for the first time to cover a wedding cake that is due tomorrow my question is do you cover the cake with fondant first or attach the moulded fondant directly to the ganash covered cake would appreciate any help

Hi Jeanlally

The moulded fondant can be put directly onto a ganached cake. If the ganache has dried out, mist the cake with a little cooled boiled water to get it tacky. Don’t over it do it though. Ceri Griffiths creator of Katie Sue designs gives instructions in his video here:
