Vegan cake sponge, help!!
Hello, do you have a fail safe vegan sponge cake recipe? I usually make a Madeira sponge for the extra firmness and I would like my vegan sponge to be the same. However so far all I have achieved is an oily crumbly cake that is failing apart everytime I touch it. I used Tescos recipe, which rated very highly. I have put on a buttercream crumb coat and put it in the freeze for now. Surely there is a better way!! All advice welcome.

I can’t help with a recipe but a really good vegan site to visit is Grenchen Price’s Bakery. It’s American recipes which can be easily converted to metric.
