Hi can you freeze Madeira cake and can you ice it still frozen to stay fresh longer I need to make a cake on Saturday for my granddaughters birthday on Tuesday is this the best way to do it

There is no need to freeze madeira cake for such a short time. Depending on recipe, madeira cake stays fresh for approximately ten days to two weeks. Once iced, keep the cake in its box and store at cool room temperature.
