Baking 3 x 7” round chocolate cake

I’m about to put 3 7” round tins in the oven, Paul’s rich chocolate cake.
Is it better to put them all on one shelf or split 2 and 1?
Do I need to rotate them also? Thanks

Hi marionaspinall

I put two at the top and one at the bottom. The bottom one might take slightly longer to bake through. If you can get them all on the one shelf with spacing for air circulation, it would be good. However, either way, please don’t open the oven door until time up. If you open the door, the cakes will sink. No rotating is necessary . ?
