1. Carving and Ganaching the cake

This is a fun part! In this lesson we get to model the head of the sleeping tiger cub using modelling chocolate and a filling of rice cereal treats.
6. Making the Tiger Cub Paws and Body
Here we get to model the legs of the tiger club out of modelling chocolate and work on the placement of him on the log. Also learn different ways to texturise the hair on the tiger’s body.
7. Painting the tiger cub
Learn techniques in dry dusting, painting and adding the details that turn this cat into a cute tiger cub!
8. Piecing it together and the final touches
In this lesson we get to put it altogether with some landscaping! Make some rolling mounds of ‘dirt’, cover the board and strategically place the grass strands.
9. Other Ideas
If a tiger cub isn’t your style, you can definitely turn this cake into any other domestic or wild cat cub or even your friend’s pet kitten! Just try painting different details and colours to achieve the right look.
10. PRO Lesson
Try your hand at making this cake as a different cat breed or a wild cat, add some flowers and make a different landscape. Learn about how much I would cost this cake – including my time and the ingredients – and how long it took me!
