Part of the cake industry since 1992, Melanie Underwood is now Head of the Cake International and Bake International shows for ICHF Events.  Melanie is responsible for selling the trade stands and securing sponsorship.

As head of cake international shows, Melanie Underwood is constantly sourcing new talent for the shows, overseeing the world-famous competition, helping to write the schedule with the Head Judge, and planning features and workshops with the team. Melanie eats, thinks, and dreams cake and sugar craft, and is incredibly proud to be part of the industry.

Melanie is a passionate advocate for the cake decorating industry. She is dedicated to promoting the art of cake decorating and inspiring others to pursue their passion for cake decorating.

Cake International is a leading UK trade show for the cake decorating, sugarcraft and baking industry. It is held annually at the NEC Birmingham, and attracts over 100,000 visitors from around the world.

Cake International is a great opportunity for cake decorators and bakers to learn about new products and techniques, meet up with friends and colleagues, and compete for prizes. It is also a great day out for anyone who loves cakes and baking.

The show features a wide range of exhibitors, including cake decorating suppliers, sugarcraft manufacturers, baking equipment companies, and cake schools. There are also a number of competitions, demonstrations, and workshops taking place throughout the weekend.
