Millionaires Cookies History

Millionaire’s shortbread, also known as caramel shortcake, caramel slice, or Wellington squares, has a relatively recent history. It’s believed to have originated in Scotland, although its exact origins are unclear. The Millionaires cookie is a very recent adaptation combining a cookie base with the caramel and chocolate coating normally associated with Millionaires shortbread.
