Does anyone else have problems with itchy hands/ skin peeling when making your own gumpaste with either tylose or gum tragacanth?

Thanks Sandra, I’m glad I wasn’t imagining it, wonder what causes it? I’d wear gloves but they’re all too big and baggy for me and a hinderence.
