I have to make a “Walking Boot” cake and wanted some help on what to do for the laces?  What would be best?

What about liquorice laces, you can easily buy the catherine wheel liquorice, and maybe cut up the length with scissors, or if you have a clay extruder use the medium circle disc.

What size of laces would you be looking for? If they were to be slightly chunkier than real life laces you could try puting sugarpaste through a potato ricer!

I have sugarcraft gun. Comes with different sizes of disks. Add trex to your sugar paste and itl glide out.
