I’m attempting a WWE ring cake for my son’s 9th birthday next week. I was going to use wooden dowelling for the ring posts but wondered how to stick the sugarpaste onto the wood.
Will sugar glue be enough?

Sugar glue or water would make it stick
If you grease the wood with Trex (lightly) or with a bit of Clear Gel brushed on the wood it will work also, but water is the easiest way.
