Hi,

Can somone please advise.

When making suger flowers on wires, i know you are not supposed to put them directly into the cake. Can you place them into the cake if they are covered with florest tape?

You can but it’s far safer to put them in a posy pick and then into the cake. There are several previous answers which I’d like to have referred you to but haven’t been able to find them, some are very informative and would be of help to you. If I find the answers I’ll let you know or perhaps you could look through.

I agree posy pick or if you could find thick smoothie straw that’s not been used of course, it’s as good as a posy pick. Just cut it to size.
