Does anyone have any tips on how to make the Christmas trees as they are really frustrating me as they just don’t look right??

I never used to be able to make trees as shown by Paul in the tutorials (I can now, been practicing!). I used to make a cone and then pipe leaves on it with a small leaf piping tube.It works well, big draw back, got to make royal icing. You could of course soften fondant icing to a stiff paste and pipe with that. Just another idea, hope it helps.
