1. Building the board
To begin, Paul shows you how to build the structure used to hold the cake using cake boards and a metal threaded rod.
2. Layering the cakes
In this lesson, Paul shows you how to layer and ganache the cakes using wooden dowels to keep the cake firmly in place. Then we move on to the ganaching!
3. Covering the cake
In this lesson, you will learn how to cover the sides of the cake in panels to achieve a nice sharp edge finish.

In this lesson, Paul covers the polystyrene turrets using sugarpaste to match the rest of the castle.

In this lesson, Paul finishes off the rest of the roof along the edge of the castle using the same technique as before.

In this lesson, Paul shows you how to make the spooky windows for the castle.
10. Adding the turrets
In this lesson, Paul simply adds the turrets to the castle using the wooden dowels before showing you how to cover the board and hide the threaded rod.

in this lesson, Paul shows you how to make all the little bits and bobs that help to bring your castle to life.
12. Making the moon
In this lesson, you will learn how to make the big beautiful moon and how to securely attach it to your cake.
13. Adding the gravestones
Paul adds a little more detail to the gravestones with dust before adding them to the cake.
14. Spooky modelling
In this lesson, Paul shows you how to make the little pumpkin monster and his 2 little green friends.
15. Finishing touches
For finishing touches, Paul carefully places the royal icing trees and adds a few more little touches to bring more character to the cake.
