1. Making the petals
The first thing we have to do is make the petals! This is a lengthy process so patience is key.
2. Airbrushing the petals
Now that the petal are ready to go the next thing we have to do is give them that bright yellow colour using a combination of yellow paints.

Now that the center has been textured it’s time to add some colour with the airbrush. For best results apply a light coat from a distance then contrast with a darker tone on the outside.

6. Covering the back
Paul shows you how to make the leaves covering the back of the sunflower to hide the polystyrene.

In this lesson Paul airbrushes the leaves of the sunflower, the end result being some very realistic looking sunflower leaves!
8. Finishing touches
For the final lesson, Paul applies a lights dust to the centre of the sunflower to give the look of pollen then brings the sunflower together by adding the leaves to the stem.
