adding extra white choc to made up white ganache

Hi again

Ive made up some white choc ganache and going to cover my cake but if its not quite the right consistency could I add more choc buttons to the mix and re melt ive watched paul ganache the white round cake and he said 3 to one would be better but ive made mine 2 to one any advice on this would be great thank you .

Yes you can melt some more chocolate and add it to the ganache, it should blend in fine. Mix it in gently so as not to release the oils from the chocolate. If you need the ganache chart you’ll find it here http://www.cakeflix.com/blog/how-to-ganache-cakes-without-gnashing-your-teeth

Thank you again madeitwithlove for you quick responce ill be doing it tomorrow now.

If you’re doing it in the morning the ganache will be much colder than the melted chocolate, just slightly warm the ganache as well so there isn’t a big difference between the two temperatures. It will be easier to blend in.
