I have been asked to make a 4 layer. White cake with a cut out section in the middle filled with 3 different colour blue sweets like smarties.any idea what they are.I can,t buy 100 pkts of smarties just for the blue ones,and I still wouldn,t get 3 colours in blue

Its ok I found the sweets,now I need a good recipe for a white sponge.I,ve only made yellow ones

This looks promising http://iambaker.net/the-perfect-white-cake/. I would select two or three recipes, bake them and see which comes out tops. There are so many to choose from, some work others don’t. As a matter of interest where did you manage to get three different blue coloured Smarties? x

My son told me about a new shop called lolly bomb they had ceiling to floor containers in different colours.they were like smarties but balls in different sizes.very useful shop.thanks for your help.its a betty Crocker cake but I don,t like using packet mixes
