I just wondered for how long can a cake covered in butter cream can stay in the fridge? Will the buttercream go off? Many Thanks !

Buttercream stays fresh in the fridge for much longer than the cake. Depending on which recipe you have used sponge cake will stay fresh for approximately five days.
