Cake

Hi there,

thanks so much for all your help. I have a really sill question. I am using the moist chocolate cake as the base to the teddy bear cake. The recipe states to use 8” X10” cake. Am i correct in saying I need to bake two cakes ( one in a 8” and the other in a 10” cake). The only reason i ask is in Pauls tutorial he uses a long rectangular cake only.

Also is it best to use square or round tins ( for cutting out the templates?)

Thank you so much for your help, i understand this is a really stilly question!

Hi Meeraben

Paul has used one 8×10 inch tin in the tutorial to bake one cake. He has used the templates to cut out all the shapes needed for the teddy from that. You could use a 10 inch tin and just cut off the extra and make truffels or cake pops. Your question is NOT silly, you’re just making sure you’ve understood it correctly. G’d luck with teddy.xx

Hello anntext

If you put in the search box ‘teddy bear cake’ scroll down to the bottom and go to to pg 3, keep scrolling until you see an answer from me for instructions on how to download the teddy templates. There are is also another question there asking the same thing. Hope this helps.
