Cake frame

After any advice off anyone who has used the cake frame system! I brought my starter kit last week and was very excited today to give it a try for the first time.

I decided to do the robot cake and followed the instructions in the booklet on how to put it all together but it seems really unstable and is wobbling all over the place and feels like if I move it the bottom rod is just going to snap! Just wondering what I may have done wrong and if any one has any tips or advice!!

Much appreciated!

Hi
Have you watched the tutorial of how the cake frame works. Dawn Butler gives a good demonstration of how it all goes together and may find your answer there.
It is in one of the last lessons on the cake chandelier cake.
Sorry I cannot help more.

Shouldn’t you contact cake frame and ask them – they should know the inside and out of their product and be able to help you better than any one.

Hello cakesbynatalie

When you say you have followed this instructions was it from this instructional guide?:
http://shop.silikomart.com/public/prodotti/SILIKO-C/SchedePDF/72.360.99.0065.pdf

Scroll down the page of the guide to see instructions on how to put together the different cakes including the robot.
Dawn Butler has several video tutorials on youtube for cake frame and also in the latest tutorial:
