Hi everyone,

Was just wondering if anyone knows what height Paul’s finished cakes are please. I.e. I normally finish to a height of around 4″ (10cms) each tier but his look a bit smaller…… – THANKS

I use similar cake tins as shown in the moist chocolate cake recipe tutorial and the majority of my bakes finish at 3 inches. Filled and iced makes them slightly taller and look pretty much the same height as Paul’s. Not all cakes rise to the same height which may result in shorter end result. Other members may be able to share their final cake height. Hope this helps a little.

I believe the standard cake height in this country is 3″, while in others such as USA and Australia it’s 4″
