Any ideas how I can make a Zimmer frame for the top of a cake ;))

For the simplest frame use this picture as reference

There are of course hundreds of more images in google which you may prefer.
To make your topper roll some paste into two sausage shapes and insert 20 gauge wire into each. Bend as shown in this tutorial http://www.cakeflix.com/online-cake-decorating-courses/the-handbag-cake/lesson-6-handles
These will be the sides/legs of the frame, pop some black or grey bits of gumpaste at the bottom of each leg for the non slip rubber bungs. Cover the non slip hand grips with some dark paste same as the leg bungs. Make more sausage lengths long enough to join the frame ends together and leave to dry. Make four more lenghths for the bars which go across the two side. Leave to dry then assemble all the parts with royal icing. Not brilliant haha but any good?? 🙂 !!
