Hi,just wondering if i make a cake covered in butter cream like the horny devil one can i just leave it out at room temperature? how long will this cake last roughly before the buttercream is no longer fresh? Just trying to work out how far in advance i could make it.

In a cool room you could probably get away with about three days, in a warm room about two day before it starts to go a bit saggy and oily I’ve had butter cream cake out on my kitchen counter for a week, but then my kitchen is colder than the fridge! I expect other members have had different experiences & you’ll receive more advice.
