Can I add more chocolate to white chocolate ganache after its made ?

Hi I hope you can help. Can I add more chocolate to white chocolate ganache after its made ?It is lovely and smooth but nowhere near thick enough to cover a cake. It has been cooled. I am wondering if it is a good idea to melt some more white chocolate and add it. Can anyone help 🙂

Hello cazhgs

White chocolate takes longer to thicken but if you’ve had it cooling for a long while and it still hasn’t thickened you can add extra melted choc to it. Melt on low in the microwave cool and combine with the rest until smooth. It will eventually firm up or pop it in the fridge for 15 minutes.
