Hi,
I used Mrs Jones recipe for carrot cake but it wasn’t sweet at all and didn’t taste very nice. Can you help please?

Mrs Jones’ recipe is perfectly balanced using light brown sugar, this may be the reason why it doesn’t taste quite as sweet. It can be replaced with normal caster sugar. Refined sugar tastes sweeter than the caramel tasting light brown.
