Confectioners sugar vs regular sugar

You can use regular sugar or soft brown sugar. The recipe requires everything to be melted, it isn’t the same as in the creaming method where you would need a finer sugar to incorporate into the eggs and butter. Just make sure that it’s all melted through gently. Caster sugar can be made at home by grinding regular sugar in a coffee grinder or food processor to reduce the size of the grains.

As far as I know confectioners sugar is another name for icing sugar, regards Grace

I am sooooooo sorry, I meant to say caster sugar. We don´t have caster sugar in my country
