Converting Cake Quantities

Hi,
I’ve made Paul’s yummy chocolate cake several times but what I’d like to do now is make just one 8″ square cake using the same recipe. I have a copy of the Cake Converter Chart but I’m still stuck !!! The recipe quantity makes a 10″ round and a 6″ round cake so how do I convert those 2 sizes of cake into one 8″ square cake??
If all else fails I could make the full quantity, use some for my 8″ square cake and the rest in an 8″ round tin (I don’t have another 8″ square tin!) then I’d have a cake for the freezer or a very large ‘Scooby snack’ !!

Hello Carla

You’ll find the quantities for 8″ square here http://www.cakeflix.com/questions/choc-recipe
Enjoy!! 🙂

EDIT

The whole recipe fits into one 10″ square tin. When you use the RR use that as your starting size from which to convert.
