How long should I cook a 6inch x5inch high chocolate mud cake pleasev

This depends on which recipe you are using. Not all mud cakes bake the same. If you are making Paul’s recipe I would suggest you do two 6 x 3″ deep cakes for approx 1. 5 hours. However, as all ovens are different, you will need to keep an eye and nose on your cakes. Baking may take a little longer or it make take less time.
If you put all the mixture in one deep tin, it will take a long time to bake. The top will probably burn and the centre will not cook through. If you bake two cakes they will each finish at approx 2.5″ tall and once trimmed, filled, iced and stacked will achieve a height of 5″.
