what tool is there for cutting these things and does anyone sell them ?
I have tried various things with little success

The ones I have break quite easily, I just measure, then score a mark, then snap them.

Have you tried the straws instead of dowles. They are really great and can be cut with scissors.

Both tools work really well on the type of dowels Paul uses in the tutorials.
