I made one succesfully years ago by dividing it using black icing and filling in the sections with run out icing in the various colours.its time consuming.if you can get a cheap children’s one it helps to plan it out.some bargain stores have them

Hi annescakes1

This http://www.coolest-birthday-cakes.com/coolest-dartboard-cake-2.html may or may not be useful. I would probably ice the cake entirely in black and let it set overnight. Divide the outer and inner circles using varying size cake cards and mark off with the scriber tool working from the inside out. Mark off a clock face first and then the remaining sections. If you have an extruder gun extrude some grey fondant to fill in the line divisions to represent the wires. Cut out triangles as shown in this tutorial http://www.cakeflix.com/online-cake-decorating-courses/exploding-santa-cake I think it would look better if you cut out both black and white triangles so the fondant is the same height. Fill in with spaces where the numbers are with rectangular pieces of fondant. Finish off with the numbers. A more simpler way would be to have an edible image topper which can be purchased here http://www.thecakedecoratingcompany.co.uk/catalog/index.php?cPath=2_630 Hope it makes sense. x

Found this as well http://whatanawesomecake.blogspot.co.uk/2010/08/arsenal-themed-dartboard-cake.html perhaps does a better job of explaining than I have! Cake in the link isn’t very flat, still looks ok though. Your cake will look miles better. Guess you could use your own colour scheme. x
