This Wedding dress cake would serve how many people roughly? And can you please tell the specifications of this textured rolling pin ( brand and name perhaps) as This design is quite sweet.

I think this http://www.cakecraftworld.co.uk/shop/products/id/culjc968.htm may be the rolling pin which is used in the tutorial. It’s a Mich Turner product from the Little Venice Cake Company. Jem also make a daisy pin http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171116842317?lpid=54&device=c&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=54&ff19=0 which looks similar. The site shop does stock Jem pins but I don’t see the daisy design. The cake is 2 x 8″ and 2 x 6″, the portion guide is here http://www.cakeflix.com/blog/how-to-decide-on-the-cake-portions however allowance has to be made for the carving which would slightly reduce the yielded portions. Hi, I’ve got this rolling pin, bought it from the cake international show NEC, a couple of years ago, but can’t remember who it was from, as they were a foreign company, but they were there again last year, and I expect

they’ll be there in November. All they sell are these rolling pins, if I remember rightly, but lots of other designs and sizes.

I also bought a similar design from the company Rosgar www.ppshop.co.uk The design is margarita daisy ref RO.01 This particular pin is deeply lazer grooved and requires it to be used with a special thin foam mat for the design to work. I also bought a couple of the side rollers. It may be the same as you have, however, the pin Paul used appeares to be less grooved and is used on icing which has been rolled out on the green board and not on the foam mat.
