Egg white powder for Royal Icing

I am wanting to make Royal Icing using Dr Oetker egg white powder. If I am using 300g icing sugar what is the quantity of egg white powder I use to how much water for the 6:1 ratio.
Any help would be much appreciated as I am new to this. Thank you.

Hi Debbie858

Royal icing made with egg white powder is not as strong as when made with real egg whites. It is better to use double quantities of powder as you can see here http://hillskitchen.co.uk/basic-royal-icing-recipe/ Each Dr Oetker sachet is equal to 2 egg whites which you can see here http://www.oetker.co.uk/oetker_uk/html/default/debi-7nahyk.en.html Paul has a tutorial on royal icing here http://www.cakeflix.com/online-cake-decorating-courses/techniques-course-decorating-with-royal-icing The instructions for mixing egg white powder with water are given in teaspoon measures and can be found on the Dr Oetker packet.
