FAO Made it With Love!

Hi, I have been asked about sending a cake by courier and wondered if you ended up using anyone for the cake you wanted to send to London? Thanks x

Hi Doodlecake

If you put in the search box ‘cake courier’, you’ll see Jayess has provided me with a link. I didn’t use the company as the intended recipient of the cake was going away at that time. It’s good to know however that the service exists. The courier company is based in Bristol and delivers nationally. If you do use it, feed back would be good please. Have a good w/end xx

Thanks I did see that but the cake needs to go from central Scotland to the Highlands and I can’t see anyone from Bristol wanting to do that 🙂 I have found a bigger company who do a fragile goods service (and specifically mention cakes) so I will ask them for a quote. I think the delivery will be double the price of the cake but I’m flattered that the customer has even asked if its possible!

How much are they charging and how far South can they pick up? Glad you found someone, and congrats for getting the order. x

I haven’t had a chance to contact them yet but it’s www.Courierdirect.co.uk and then the fragile goods service x

Thanks Doodlecake for the link, that is so helpful, I’m sure you and I are not the only ones who want to send cakes by courier. This time of year I can’t get around to see many members of my family because they live so far away from me. Cake presents is just a way of sharing celebrations with them, a humble mouth sweetener speaks volumes of love. Also thanks to Jayess.
