Milk Ganache help – What ratio of cream to chocolate do I need?

The instructions for the teddy bear cake call for 1kg of ganache. I would like to make milk choc ganache. What ratio of cream to chocolate do I need?

Hello Becky

You’ll find a quantities chart for the different types of chocolate here:
http://www.cakeflix.com/blog/how-to-ganache-cakes-without-gnashing-your-teeth
Use any figure which works out up to the amount you need or follow the amounts for the size cake you are baking. For milk chocolate follow the quantities for white chocolate.

If you could give a little more information about which dog and the type of recipe you mean, the site community may be able to help with an answer. There are two carved dog tutorials, the West highland terrier and the golden retriever. Is it the ganache recipe or the cake recipe?
