Hi caryl

I made a silver heel which had a very high gloss like a glitter ball. I used Edable Art disco silver glitter. To achieve the gloss allow the ball to dry, slightly dampen sections of the ball with vodka, taking care not to saturate and apply the disco silver using a soft flat paint brush in quick short strokes, removing excess glitter. Don’t allow the glitter to clump as this will form a pitted look to the surface. Work all the way round until the ball is completely covered. Use a blusher type brush to ‘polish’ the ball to a high gloss. Any surrounding colours will be reflected in the silver giving the appearance of glass. To get best results apply the glitter on a white base and not coloured. I think if you attach all the squares onto the ball first and let them dry will help retain their shape and make it easier for the glitter application. Re define the squares gently with a scriber tool or a fine black edible food pen.
