Glue stain

Just finished figure of eight racing track cake and glueing with piping gel I dropped one on the top! How can I get the mark off the road? I don’t have any 100% alcohol but do have vodka/gin. Alternatively if I spray the whole thing with confectioner’s glaze would that sort of work or enhance the unwanted stain of glue? Pick up is Sat am and being the perfectionist I am this stands out like a sore thumb……..

Piping gel should just wash off with a little vodka. Confectioners glaze would give you a glossy shine.
This may stand out like a sore thumb to you but no one else will notice. People don’t look at one spot on a cake, they Ooooo and Aaaaa at the whole thing. Paul never minds imperfections. That’s what yells out that someone made the cake with love, it didn’t just roll off of a conveyor belt! x
