Welcome to the Cake Decorators Q&A
gumpaste problem
Hi, I’ve been making my own gumpaste at home and just recently, I’ve noticed that as I leave them wrapped up, they start to get lumps and look… umm well like a sea coral hehehe I know they’re not damaged yet as it’s a newly made batch. When i use them, the outter skin has sorta shelled up so i just slice it out but then there’s the little lump things inside.
Could you suggest anything that could be the problem with it? did i not knead it enough initially? etc….
