Hi..was wondering how many layers would you cut a 3″deep cake? I usually just cut through the middle..and put my chosen filling in. Could you get 3 layers out of it?

I usually would try and get 3 layers out of it.

I also cut mine in three, bit tricky sometimes, I’m not very good at cutting straight, unintentional wonky cakes!

I always cut 3 and do one layer jam and the other buttercream it helps it to stop sliding and get morE filling init. I mark the line on the side then always match up the lines so if the cake isn’t straight itl match up back to normal
