Can rice paper pictures be placed on swiss meringue buttercream icing?

It depends how big the picture is. I’ve used small toppers like seasonal stickers and butterflies but have never stuck a biggish picture right down on it. Swiss meringue butter cream doesn’t crust over and will cause rice paper to absorb grease from the butter.
