Invicta cake tins & parchment paper method

I am ready to upgrade my cake tins from PME to Invicta, however I cannot seem to find 4″ deep anywhere.
I also haven’t never needed to use the parchment paper around the sides method.
Does anyone use this brand and use the parchment paper to create an extra inch method? If so, does the extra inch stay moist or does it crust? Do you recommend the brand? Does the sponge shrink much?

Invicta brand is used and preferred by many professional cake bakers. It’s an excellent investment for a quality product at a reasonable price. I definitely recommend the brand.
However, I have not been able to source any 4″ deep tins. We have had this query before as you will see from the following: https://www.cakeflix.com/questions/invicta-cake-tins-4inche-or-3-inche-deep
It may be worthwhile contacting Invicta directly for assistance.

I use the parchment collar method when I want a slightly taller cake. I can’t say I have any problems with a dry crust. Shrinkage is what would be expected from any baked product, it is slight. I suggest that you try this method with one of your existing pans as a guide for your own peace of mind.
