I’m sorry if this has been asked before, but what is ‘buffer paper”? Is it edible? Just love Lucia’s roses made with this paper, but would like to know what it is please.

:)) As a matter of fact, I had watched that particular video the other day and I thought the same thing. Hmmm, what is ‘buffer’ paper. She’s actually saying ‘wafer’ paper but her Italian accent makes it sound like ‘buffer’. She’s pronouncing it “waffer”. You can see from the first video she holds up a sheet of wafer paper. It is amusing however to see the description under lesson one: “Using buffer paper Lucia delicately shows you the technique to making the beautiful roses which sit on the cake.” Who wrote that??
